The very successful ICTAS2020, in spite of corona virus challenges, feature 3 keynote
speakers:Prof Dr Maria Ganhza, Prof Marcin Paprzycki and local expert Dr Vukosi Marivate.
Prof. Dr. Maria Ganhza, from the Warsaw University of Technology, Poland, introduced
delegates to semantic technologies and applications, while Prof Marcin Paprzycki
from Systems Research Institute at the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw spoke
On Interoperability in the Internet of Things. Dr Vukosi Marivate, University of
Pretoria and ABSA Chair of Data Science, shared insights on Understanding Intelligence
through text and the implications for the 4IR.
A total of 59 papers were received and double blind peer reviewer by an international
panel of experts in the field. 33 papers were accepted, presented.and have been submitted
to IEEE Xplore for publication.
